on 14th september 2008, a few of us gathered together and said omgshit its selene's birthday soon must have something to do. the day before we rushhh to plan smth. Brendon's smart self came up with the idea of playing tennis, and he'd already asked a few ppl to play before this, so those few ppl became the planning committee.

Okay so when sunday came selene went to tuition/church and so... (?) ya.
The rest of us said : meet at tiong bahru plaza at 12 so we can make preparations! We had lunch, bought a cake and a present and waited and waited and waited for camille and zinc and waited and waited for joanna and peixuan cos they extr__ so go subway and eat. Guess the word! ans at the btm

next we went to the bus stop to take bus to sook xian's house. 'Twas a cool house went we went there, cos alot of cool ppl =) okay so we reached there and it was 2:30. we booked the court at 3 o clock so we played Taboo for half an hour. Camille lost cos she too bad too bad, and Joanna kept laughing at the card without saying anything (Joanna hello?). Yup, so after our short spastic taboo round, we went down for some short spastic tennis. At the tennis court, we saw a short spastic girl on the bridge and immediately knew it was selene. so we said hello selene!!

After tennis we went to bathe and finish up the last minute preps for selene's surprise ~ although it wasn't really a surprise. I think what we did is more surprising than the birthday cake surprise because it was.. u see later. so, we sing happy birthday selene in english and chinese but we dunno the malay version cos hwa dun want to teach us.

After that we played more Taboo and camille lost again, and after that we went to bathe and make more last min preps for the really surprising part! okay so the girls went to bathe in sook xian's house and the guys went to bathe at the public toilets downstairs because sx's house doesn't have 7 toilets like janelle Brendon's house. After the bathing, we went back up and started watching Herbie which was boring shit, so we wanted to change to Harold n Kumar, but Hwa was racist and didn't want to watch Kumar. Also sx's innocent nephews were there and we couldn't have all the bad stuff polluting them. So we settled for The Love Guru. It was really funny, and we had fun watching it over dinner. Ian (her nephew) also came out to play, and for some screwed up reason said Xing Hao is the best, all the rest are mischievous. But in the end i brainwashed him into saying that I am the best in the whole wide world, and then he gave me a hug :3

After eating, we started our surprise event which is : make selene walk around the condo finding paper. Here's how it goes, we write clues on the paper, and then one will lead to the next, and eventually to the present. There were 10 in total, but selene lost one by throwing it into a random hole o_O We passed her the first clue as we were going down to play lanterns - and it began.
The route went :
SX house -> ping pong table -> swimming pool -> tennis court -> playground -> another one at the playground -> vending machine -> boys' toilet -> post box -> SX house
10 stations in total, and selene was really lousy at finding the clues because she can walk past a clue without seeing it O_O
I think it was really fun overall though because it was planned by fun and cool people, and so i think its really quite cool and fun.
